This goes to everybody out there that has encouraged me over the last few years to make this study real & practical. May it be as powerful and beneficial to you as it is to me.
Your Character Number
Each 9 Star KI Astrology number consists of three (3) digits.
The second or central number/digit takes a deeper look at your character. Your character number is drawn from your month of birth and is similar to the Moon sign in Western Astrology. The influence of this number(star) gives you an insight of your driving force. It reveals three important qualities about you:
WHO YOU WERE AS A CHILD ?
WHO YOU REVERT TO BEING UNDER PRESSURE ?
HOW DO YOU RELATE TO OTHERS ?
Basically one could say that we are this second/ central number until we reach adulthood. It is seen as the quality we have until we gain independence and “often” leave home which is generally around the age of 18.
How to determine your Character Number
In the chart below, find your principal number in one of the three column headings on the right.
Remember the principal number is the first number, the Adult number.
In case you haven’t had the chance to figure it out yet make sure you first listen to last podcast or read previous blogpost on how to determine your principal number.
Now look up your day and month of birth in the left-hand column, and then look across to tie this up with the number in the particular right hand column under the heading where you found your principal number.
For example:
If your date of birth is 13 November 1972 it gives you a principal first number of 1 Water.
The number 1 appears in the first of the right hand column headings (along with the 4 and 7).
Looking down the left-hand column, you will find 13 November in the period 8 November to 7 December. Looking across to the corresponding kine in the first right handed column, you will see that the appropriate character number is 8.
Taking your first and second number together, this gives you a reading so far of 1, 8.
How do you relate to others?
Remember the 5 transformations describe the basis of the nine principal numbers. Here a quick resume before we look more closely on how the transformations and their numbers interact and how this provides a fascinating insight into your relationships to others ;-).
Fire number 9 represents midday, summer and heat.
Individuals tend to be sociable, expressive, warm and passionate.
Soil number 2, 5, 8: represents the energy of the afternoon and late summer and is associated with damp or humid weather. Individuals tend to be grounded, earthy, practical and like soil or compost capable of nurturing an supporting others.
Metal number 6&7: represents the energy of the evening and autumn. People tend to be clear and decisive, to pay attention to detail and tend to have a sense of natural authority.
Water number 1: represents winter time, when energy appears dormant, just as we are at night. People tend to have a quieter , hidden expression that is deep and reflective.
Tree number 3, 4: represents upward movement of energy as well as birth and the beginning of a new cycle. It is associated with the dawn, spring and windy or changeable weather. People with tree energy in their nature tend to have plenty of ideas, energy and enthusiasm.
Once you have established whether your numbers are governed by Fire, Soil, Metal, Water or Tree you can discover how you relate to other individuals.
On your right you find the two major relationship cycles.
The “control-cycle” refers to elements/transformations of an opposite nature ad they can give over-riding” qualities to each other.
The basic argument is:
Fire melts Metal – Metal cuts Tree/Wood – Tree (and its roots) break up Earth/Soil – Earth absorbs Water – Water controls Fire
The “support-cycle” also known as the “Mother/Child-relationships” is the cycle where one element supports the next:
Soil supports Metal – Metal supports Water – Water supports Tree and so on.
This is potentially a stable relationship whether at work or within the family.
If you share the same transformational number with somebody else, for instance you are both 3 Tree, ore one of you is 3 Tree and the other 4 Tree, your energy is similar, which is often called “a brother/sister relationship”.
You have a profound understanding of each other which lead to a quiet, mellow and gentle relationship.
